IDAHOBIT AT DR. DOUGH DONUTS
DELICIOUS RAINBOW GLITTER DONUTS DELIVERED ACROSS SYDNEY!
We have re-launched our delicious and fluff rainbow glitter donuts in support of IDAHOBIT on May 17th. International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) celebrates LGBTQIA+ people globally, and raises awareness for the work still needed to combat discrimination.
We want to continue the conversation and support awareness for IDAHOBIT 2022. These donuts can be delivered to your home or office as part of your IDAHOBIT gatherings in support and celebration of LGBTQIA+ people in Australia and around the globe. These fabulous Rainbow Glitter Donuts are available for delivery in Sydney!
WHAT IS IDAHOBIT AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Imagine being the new kid at school, or starting a new job where you don’t know anyone and they don’t know you. Now imagine doing that but with something about you that you have not shared with many people or maybe no one else at all. (1.)
And trust me... I know exactly what this is like. I'm lucky enough to work in for Dr. Dough Donuts, and my bosses and every single person I work with are incredibly welcoming and accepting of not just me but of each and every single person that works here at Dr. Dough. We have different sexualities, different races and backgrounds and we all work cohesively in a supportive environment.
May 17th is important because it is the day that the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems in 1990.
HOW CAN I SUPPORT?
Great question! You can make a donation here to Minus 18 - an Australian charity improving the lives of LGBTGIA+ youth.
